Halloween scary, but fun at aquarium
The annual Halloween Happening at the Aquarium of Niagara is sure to be “fin”-filled and spooky.
There will be treats, surprises and a very special sea lion “spooktacular” that will feature one of today’s popular super heroes. The event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. The special sea lion shows are planned at 4:30 and 6 p.m. The later show will feature the super hero appearance. Kids in marine-related costumes will be admitted free. All others will be $5; children 3 and under and Aquarium members are free. There will be prizes for best costume and all kids will make a spider sucker to take home.
A scavenger hunt, with small pumpkins hidden in various exhibits, also will be a part of the Halloween event. Parents must accompany their children to be admitted. Norampac is sponsoring this event.
Save Nov. 14 for Jeff Musial and his Nickle City Reptiles and Exotics. These often maligned critters will make their appearance from noon to 4 p.m. This event is included in regular admission, $9.50 for adults; $6 for children and $7.50 for seniors. Fashion Outlets of Niagara is the sponsor.
