Saving for a cause

For those of our visitors that have elementary age children, do you know about the great program called Box Tops for Education?  My son’s school (Maple Ave, here in Niagara Falls) collects the Box Tops that are on many of the products most of us buy and use daily.  For me it’s a no brainer because I am purchasing the product anyway…Pillsbury rolls anyone?!  I clip the box tops, and then every month send in what I have the school receives 10 cents per box top turned in. Yes I know that doesn’t sound like too much but if you can get 10 box tops from 200 students then there is $200.00…There are neat collection sheets that the kids can color and the attach the Box Tops to.  There are also links through their website to different companies that will give a donation per purchase.

If your school doesn’t participate, or maybe you don’t have school aged children, I know that Maple ave would be more than happy to accept any donated box tops.

Mail them to the Niagara Rises PO Box or directly to the school.
