Still Fallin’ For The Falls Happy Hour

The first-ever “Still Fallin’ For The Falls’ Happy Hour was held on Thursday night and was, by even the toughest of standards, a runaway success.

Over 85 people packed the Old Falls Sports Bar and Grill inside of the Crowne Plaza Hotel to celebrate our city’s past and its future.

On hand were such local luminaries as Mayor Paul Dyster, City Administrator Donna Owens, NTCC head John Percy, City Council Chairman Chris Robins, Cable Television’s Candra Thomason and Niagara Falls Bridge Commission Chairwoman Norma Higgs.

Many folks pledged their support to the Niagara Homecoming event to be held in June.

The 50/50 split was won by Mayor Dyster who had earlier deeded over his tickets to the Niagara Block Club.

The good folks at the Crowne put on a wonderful display of food and samples of local wines.

Guests also signed a letter inviting Senator Gillibrand to attend the next Niagara Rises meeing.

Check out the slide show below to see many of the happy party goers.

The next Happy Hour is set for Thursday, March 5th from 5-7 PM at the Como. Tell your friends and let’s break the 100 person barrier.
