TASTE OF NIAGARA Attracts Martha Stewart!
When an international destination holds a festival, it’s only fitting it draw an international audience. And, that’s just what will happen, thanks to Martha Stewart Living Radio.
TASTE OF NIAGARA, being held the weekend of July 24th through the 26th, in Niagara Falls, NY, will be featured during the show’s July 24th broadcast, which can be heard on Sirius Satelite Radio, Channel 157, as well as XM 112. In addition, the broadcast may be heard online at www.sirius.com. The TASTE OF NIAGARA interview will be conducted by Mario Bosques and is scheduled for 1:50pm.
Event organizer Richard Hoose has also announced that the exact site of the 2009 TASTE OF NIAGARA will be the newly-renovated “West Mall” area of downtown Niagara Falls, located between Rainbow Boulevard and Prospect Street. He points out that the location is within 1000 feet of Niagara Falls State Park and the American Falls.
In fact, the world’s most famous waterfall will play a prominent role in the festival…serving as the backdrop for a fireworks display during Preview Night, Friday, July 24th.
Other highlights of Preview Night include a concert by country music group Ransomville.
Many of Western New York’s favorite restaurants are “on board” for TASTE OF NIAGARA, including The Silo, Sunset Grill, Just Pizza, and Louie’s Hot Dogs…along with specialty food purveyors like Mrs. Ribs, Wolfe Maple Products and the Bavarian Nut Company.
Of course, Niagara Falls is the perfect venue for this great event, which will be introduced to not only visitors from throughout Western New York, but to visiting tourists from throughout the world.
Festival hours are 5-10pm on Friday and 11am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Admission to the 2009 TASTE OF NIAGARA is FREE. Tickets may be purchased for featured foods and beverages. In addition to food, there will be other activities for children and families to enjoy.
