Wintergarden Reuse Meeting
An informational meeting to discuss potential adaptive reuse of the former Wintergarden will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Niagara Falls Public Library, 1425 Main St. Maryland architect Carrie Bergey, a Lewiston native, will present an alternative proposal for the reuse of the former arboretum. A state agency, USA Niagara Development Corp., has announced plans to purchase the building and demolish it by next spring. The meeting Saturday — organized by Bergey and other community members who want to see the building reused, rather than demolished — is open to the public.
